CEPS, Inc. offers two customized programs that enable people with disabilities (with or without behavioral issues) to live in their own homes in the community with support:

Supported Living Services (SLS)
SLS is designed for individuals requiring up to 24 hour support in order to live safely in the community. We assist consumers with doctors’ appointments, monitoring medications, shopping, and accessing community events. CEPS’ consumers also receive training from our personal care attendants in such areas as money management, acceptable behavior in social/sexual relationships, personal care and hygiene, employment opportunities, nutrition, and household management. The goal for the individual is to live in the least restrictive environment, so staff are trained in non-adversive intervention techniques such as “natural consequences.”
The overall philosophy of the SLS program is to enhance consumers’ self-reliance and to nurture their growing sense of personal responsibility.

Independent Living Services (ILS)ILS is designed to provide instruction to consumers in critical skills which may include cooking, cleaning, shopping, menu planning, money management, mobility training, use of community resources, self-reliant behavior, and other skills they may need to maintain an independent living arrangement in the community. ILS Instructors teach these skills to the consumer a few hours per week, usually at the consumer’s home.
